Meeting Emilee

My girls were just rounded up from the sand pits they posed.

Sofi suffering from sister issues would not indulge me in a group photo!

Kari and I went to College together. We were born on the exact day. She just brought home little Emilee last September.

Laney Loo's pool party

Orphanage sisters from Zhanjiang

It was chilly once out of the water

Stunning girls, Jade and Asia on each side

Yangjiang girls

Since we see each other alot, sometimes we forget how special it is that we traveled twice with them to get our girls. What a bond Jade and Ali, Asia and Laney have!

Bullets to Chugwater on Father's day

It was the Lettering that saved the window from totally shattering. You have to look close, but you can the entry hole to the left of Hawaii and the glass started crumbling down.

You can see the whole window was shattered and the entry was just above Asia's head!

Petting the kitty in front of the Wheat fields

We haven't seen Emily since she was 6 and Jade was 18 months.

For Father's day we thought we would go to Chugwater and see some old friends and relatives.

We were just a mile from the Windsor exit on I25 when we heard a big pop and a hole broke into the back window. Then the whole window shattered and started dropping glass. We exited at the Windsor exit and pulled into a convenience store. As we bought all their duct tape, a police officer showed up. He thought it was shot at, because it was early and not many cars were on the road. We got the outside taped up, but once the wind hit it, it separated a little and was losing glass. It was a little bit unerving! Once at Chugwater we taped up the other side and it was fine. It was good to see everyone again. The ride home was uneventful...thank goodness!

Nikelle's shower

Nikelle and her flower girls

Asia had alot to say this day!

The cupcakes

Brenda made this apron and pot holders.

Beautiful shower. Many wore Nikelle's wedding colors of Aqua and Brown. It was so quiet when they were working on Nikelle's TP wedding dress. Nikelle asked if anyone had something to say, Asia stepped up and said, "You look like a hootchie momma!" No one could beat that comment!

Party with the 3 Bears

Don't they look like they could be sibs!

Travel group members of Missy Z visit them. Let the summer partys roll! This little guy has been home from China just a year. You would never guess that he has no arms, he does so well.

Tree House

I was assured that Asia could scale the tree with no problems

Waiting for a show from the Neighbors! :-) Wouldn't you hate to be our Neighbor!

I kept hearing them sneaking into the garage. Then, voila they were living on top of a gazebo! Cole wanted them all to spend the night there. I never saw Asia climb the tree, but they assured me she did!

The Garden

My cottage garden looks the best this time of year

An English rose

So much fun to try and keep a nice looking yard with this crew!

Curlers in the hair

Beautiful and charming children!

IT actually was Cole's idea to put curlers in the hair, but he chickened out! The girls wanted to wear curly buns in their hair for Sunday. Drew? I don't know!
