Bullets to Chugwater on Father's day

It was the Lettering that saved the window from totally shattering. You have to look close, but you can the entry hole to the left of Hawaii and the glass started crumbling down.

You can see the whole window was shattered and the entry was just above Asia's head!

We haven't seen Emily since she was 6 and Jade was 18 months.

For Father's day we thought we would go to Chugwater and see some old friends and relatives.

We were just a mile from the Windsor exit on I25 when we heard a big pop and a hole broke into the back window. Then the whole window shattered and started dropping glass. We exited at the Windsor exit and pulled into a convenience store. As we bought all their duct tape, a police officer showed up. He thought it was shot at, because it was early and not many cars were on the road. We got the outside taped up, but once the wind hit it, it separated a little and was losing glass. It was a little bit unerving! Once at Chugwater we taped up the other side and it was fine. It was good to see everyone again. The ride home was uneventful...thank goodness!
