Daffodil girls

The only actual picture at the gardens before my battery went dead

Using my other lens, which does not have autofocus, the only clear picture.

We went to the Botanic gardens on earth day. They made daffodil hats. We visited gpa and nei nei.

Poison Mud stew and rocks in their head

We can't wait until they leave the rocks alone...until then!

The little bag has the poison which they added to the stew...want some?

Big daddy loves to have a nice yard...I say wait a couple of years! Because when you
turn your back they are rearranging the landscaping.

Hair glue

The glue

Glue in hair ...the evidence

The Culprit

Drew appears very sweet, but when aggitated he is quite pesky. They were all doing crafts, when Jade and he had a spat. So, he poured Elmer's on her head. Which was not dicovered until early Sunday morning. Thank goodness he was caught before he emptied the whole bottle on her head.

Boy's day out

Cole and Ralphie

Folsom Field

Cole in front of Folsom, ahh such good memories!

The uncles came up with a plan while the boys were in school. Nate would take Cole to CU to participate in the athletic activities, meet the football players, coach, etc. Doug would take Drew fishing in Boulder creek. Nei Nei and Gpa came to get the boys right after school, the boys were so exscited for such an adventure.
They were wasted when they arrived home, but they had a great time. Thanks Uncles!

Lilo and Stitch

See Aunt Dianne, I wasn't kidding about the cat soaking your thank you note!

WHAT?!

Huh, don't wake me up....it's that sister of mine.

When our beloved 1st born (feline) died after 17 years, the gap was so big and needed to be filled with another. Well that "another" came as a duo, Lilo and Stitch. Because they were sooo cute! And we have always been cat lovers...well, Lilo has cured both myself and big daddy of cats! She has issues, she must shred all paper products-including napkins, toilet paper, kleenex boxes and paper towels. We have to keep all bathrooms shut and all the paper products out of reach-ha! have ever seen where a siamese cat can go?! Her other issue, is all glasses of liquids must fall. We have never fixed her because we haven't wanted to invest in her...so we have the howling every 6 weeks or so... But, she and the kids love each other. Then when I walk past public bulletin boards and see kittens posted, I think ahhhh wouldn't it be great to have a bunch of kittens for the kids..........I am nuts!!!! We will be getting her fixed soon.

Trent picks up a party

The Dude of the Day turns 4!

A Pack of Rats

Poor Guy!

We, the parental units needed a little party detox from the last weekend. I had arranged for Trent to pick up the boys on the way to Talon's party. He wondered why the girls couldn't go...I told him I thought 6 kids by himself might be a bit much! But, he said no problem Leann and Lori will help! Poor girls! So here is Talon's party and ahhhh did we have a great day!

Just a normal Thursday night....

Drew begged to not got to Chinese School because his Guitar might show up with UPS. As I was walking out the door, I caught him snichin' stew from the crockpot. Last time I had him cook 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef for tacos, when I got home there was 1/4 of a cup left of it for Bill, the girls and I! Sooo, I quickly grabbed the crockpot, the pot of potatoes and put them in my room. The cord was too short to put it in the bathroom, so I had to put it on the floor. Then I locked my room door and scooted off to Chinese school. It didn't hit me until I was at school that I had set it on the carpet and maybe it could start a fire. So I blazed home, went to get the key for my room and it was missing! Argh, so I go to the garage and get out the mini screwdriver set, not one will open the door. I am starting to panic, as it is dinner and could start a fire...oh what do I know! Meanwhile, the UPS driver shows up with Drew's guitar. Jade finds a boxtop on the empty kleenex box and must remove with the sharpest knife in the house. Drew wants to plug in the amp right next to my room door. I run to the garage, get the cordless screwdiver, undo the doorknob, save dinner...oh look Surabi the fluffy cat was locked in here with dinner for 3 hours. Good thing she is our only "good" cat, didn't eat dinner or go potty in the room, things are looking good. Cole comes home from playing basketball at the park, the girls don't like the stew. Jade starts a time test for addition while I make a salad, Cole wants to copy some sheets. He then goes and gets my fax machine to make copies in the middle of the floor. I serve the stew, Big Daddy walks in at 8:30pm. I tell him, oh can you reassemble the door knob? He wants to know how we can get the house to be so trashed, because he gave us until 8:30 to get it cleaned up. And why didn't I use the key, it was right next to the door on top of the thermostat!

April Fools with meatloaf cupcakes

Drew walked in from school and said, watch out Mom is going to do wierd stuff with the food today. So, they knew they were getting the cupcakes, and the girls had not a clue what they were talkin' about...they learned!
